A second series PC from PP…
For many watch enthusiasts, the perpetual calendar is the pinnacle of watchmaking and we cannot argue when we are looking at the stunning Patek Philippe reference 3945/1 in yellow gold.
The 36mm case is in superb condition with a solid caseback that still has the PP sticker intact. The case is without lugs and has an integrated yellow gold ‘wave pattern’ bracelet. The dial is a second series finished in opaline with three sub dials – a day & 24-hour at nine o’clock, month & leap year at three o’clock and the date & moon phase at six o’clock.
The finishing and quality is exactly as you would expect – stunning!
This complicated Patek has an Archive Extract that states an original manufacture date of 1987, a sale date of 1988, confirms the integrated bracelet and the opaline dial. The watch is fitted with its original Patek Philippe yellow gold ‘wave pattern’ integrated bracelet that would fit up to a 20.5cm wrist size. The watch houses the sublime cal 240Q automatic movement with 22k gold rotor that has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
A true overlooked sleeper in the watch collecting world !
