The distinctive styling of the Frank Lloyd Wright December Gifts Watch is based on a series of Liberty Magazine covers that wright produced in the winter of 1926-1927. The designs were considered to be too avant grade and were never published. The “December Gifts” drawing depicts festive holiday gifts with the ribbon and bows abstracted to striking geometric shapes.
